I had to do a sleep study after a siezure several years ago. It was no fun, uncomfortable all wired up and so hard to sleep in a strange place. I would run it by your neuro. Having your meds checked out couldn't hurt.

I tend to have elaborate dreams taking me back to my past when I have a fever and/or under stress. I wish I could be more help, but a sleep study seems a tad extreme to me. I wish you calm quiet sleep.
