AAAHHH!
I was in Macy's yesterday trying to get into one of those single bathrooms with the baby in his stroller and my 4 year old Kate. All I needed to do was wash my hands so I didn't push the stroller all the way in so it kept the door open.

There was a woman waiting to go inside after me and while I was washing my hands decided to scoot my stroller in and close the door ALL THE WAY for us. My daughters finger was in the corner of the door and it smashed her finger. The door was completely closed with her finger in it. The top of her finger was completely off the bone.

Long story short, I spent all last night in the ER while they basically created a new finger top for her. It was a horrible experience and I feel horrible about it. I could have done 10 things differently.

Why would that woman do that? I told her before going in I would be quick and I was just washing my hands. I had just changed the baby's dirty diaper in the baby room next door to the family bathroom. Why they don'y have a sink in the baby room I have no idea.

I know that in the scheme of things, this is a very small injury. She is my first baby and she was so traumatized being in the hospital. She just kept screaming the whole time no matter what I did.

Thanks for letting me unload all this. It was a terible night.
