We're having a small dinner at home with our two sons. I'm roasting a 14 lb Perdue turkey and making all the trimmings. Also making a blueberry pie. I'm winding down with my last class this week, so things had to be low key. Next year, maybe a bigger crowd.

The house is a disaster because all I've been doing in my spare time is studying, but that's coming to an end. I might even get the house cleaned up a bit before Thursday, since I have tomorrow off.

I'm counting my blessings this year, thankful for what I have in this life.
Happy Thanksgiving to each of you. You're such a wonderful bunch.

Yes! Thanksgiving is over and it is Wednesday and I am alive!

What? What is that you say? Thanksgiving is on Thursday this year and every year! Well huh! At school it is done and over! Finished!

Now on to the good stuff!

The real Thanksgiving! I have all my store goodies. DH and I go to the store together. Yes, put your finger down your throat and gag yourself now! He packs the bags in for me too! Thursday we will cook a nice turkey dinner together and three of us will stuff ourselves sick.

Have a great Holiday all!

PrincessD...this one will be the hardest...hang in there!

I will be back on Saturday. You all be good.

And Taffy, I know you will find this hard to believe, but I will be without my computer until I return. Yep, no internet for FG.

Happy TG everyone!

I get to have my first Thanksgiving with family in several years. I can't believe I missed the chaos. I know I missed the food, yum. Did you know it's my fav holiday and I love turkey?! We all got pies from Amish country, so I better save room for dessert.

My youngest sister is cooking this year. She thought it would be great if we all staggered to the movies afterwards. I bet Fred Claus will be even funnier after a huge meal and several bottles of wine. Dad says we can even have a popcorn fight. Good thing, cuz I don't think anyone will be hungry.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving. I am thanful to have found this group and don't know how I ever got along without ya.

Happy turkey day, turkeys. It's fairly quiet here, none of the breakneck kitchen competition this year. I miss the smells, but not a lot else. It's snowy and cold, a little sun peaking through now and then. It's all fine.

It's Turkey Day!
A happy day to all! I wish you all could be here with me and I would stuff you silly!

(actually Taffy is looking for a guinea pig to try the Soy milk pumpkin pie!)

FG? You have cut the cord from your laptop and left it home? Put a star on the calendar!
