It's Turkey Day!
A happy day to all! I wish you all could be here with me and I would stuff you silly!

(actually Taffy is looking for a guinea pig to try the Soy milk pumpkin pie!)

FG? You have cut the cord from your laptop and left it home? Put a star on the calendar!

I woke up this morning and said.."Thank You God For Everything" and promptly went back to sleep..

I called my Sis-in-law and had a nice remeniscent talk about Brother Jim. We decided that he is on the heavenly golf course with my DH, John, his DS, Jack and his FIL, Jim.

A mighty foursome.

I am having a quiet day here at home. If anyone wants to drop over with a plate of turkey, stuffing, mashed tators w/ giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls w/butter and a piece of punky pie, I will answer the door.

I'm thankful for all of You....Happy Thanksgiving Day.

Aw, c'mon, Sal, this is a job for the "stone soup" theory. Hop into your chair and tool up and down the sidewalks with a checklist. Hit enough neighbors to get everything you want, head home, fire up the microwave and enjoy your feast. See? Will=way. You can do it.

LOL, good idea. I can tell that most of my neighbors are cooking, because their driveways look like parking lots.

I'll hitch a wagon on the back of my scooter and just holler out, "Thanksgiving is about GIVING...All donations are welcome.

I don't believe it and I know why, but I had to share this with you.....My PODD just called wondering why I had called her, earlier. She was snippy with me, so I knew she was feeling guilty about something.

I asked her what she was eating for TG dinner and she said they had ordered the Kroger's Turkey dinner. I said "OH" and she said, "well we had to eat something". No invite or offer to bring something over, BTW.

Who was it who said. " No pain cuts sharper and deeper than that of an ungrateful Child" ?

I'm OK, had a good cry and now I'm OK. Don't worry about me...just thanks for being here.
