I think my blahs are over. I went to my daughters the last 2 days. They go to a wonderful church and they baptism last night in a way that my little church has never done. All the people being baptized gave their testimony before hand. Then I had a lot of hugs and kisses from my gilrs, ages 6 and 1. Driving home all by myself it was just me, the rain and a lot of Christmas carols on the radio. So bring it on. I'm ready!!!!!!

My husband thought I was crazy for driving 3 hours to see them when they are going to be here for Christmas. But the oldest grandaughter and I started her gifts for everyone on Thanksgiving and we didn't get them all finished. So Grandma has to move mountains to help her girl finish!

Would love to go on the cruise but have a phobia about boats on the water...I can't swim! Lots of weird aches and pains, not sure what any of them are but no health insurance so I put up with it.

I do have a scooter I bought myself, use it on my bad days when I go shopping, it stays in the back of the van, originally bought it for hubby when his insurance said he didn't need one...yeah RIGHT! Six weeks after I bought the Rascal, the insurance called and asked if we'd be home so they could deliver one! That gave me one...don't use it a lot but enough to keep the batteries good...the pups like riding in it...I have a big shopping basket on the front!

Does anyone go to the chat room?? I've been there several times and waited but no one shows up.....let me know when a good time is for you. I'm a night owl, usually up til 12 - 2 a.m. and pups get me up about 6:30 in the morning. I don't work, I'm caregiver for hubby. We're training two pups as hearing dogs.

I'm on AIM, MSN and Yahoo....

Crystal, I'm sorry, I didn't explain that we're just goofing around right here on this board. We have a cruise thread going and it's just for fun. Check it out, and I hope you'll join us. I'm not much into chatting, myself, typing is too hard/slow, but others might join you. Sometimes, in the social chat forum, someone will announce that they're in chat looking for others to join. That might work for you.

Doydie! Rock on, girl! Your grandma time was every bit justified and important! Tell dh that AMN thinks that he's the one with a few loose screws!!

I figured that's what it was...doesn't help the phobia though. I'll stick to dry land, even here. I have breakfast in the oven...so this won't be very long.

Pups are napping already...this could be a lazy day where I don't bother getting dressed.

Hi Crystal,

You have GOT to come on the virtual cruise with us. All of the fun and benefits with none of the side effects. Please go by and check out the cruise thread. We're having so much fun over there.

Nothing like being on a cruise and having fun with board friends in your PJs.

Crystal, you must cruise with us. I get seasick, but who cares. I'm enjoying a break from the family madness, and jumping at a sunshine filled cyper vacation.

Gettting dressed, silly I only do that to go out in public. I wonder between my Dads and sisters houses in my pj's and santa hat several times a day. Why dirty more clothes.

My christmas spirits are rising. My son is coming up from Kentucky and my Niece is coming from Florida.

Last night the township had 3 fire trucks all decorated with lights driving around town blowing the whistles and sirens and Santa was throwing candy to all the children. That sort of help my spirit. Seeing all the happiness and fun. Now I just have to finish my cooking and I am done for Christmas.

The only thing here in New Jersey they are predicting rain for the next three days. That is going to put a little damper on the festivities.

O well it could be worse. Like all of you that got stuck with the snow and ice and floods. I shouldn't be complaining. Hope all of you have made out OK.

Joyce........

Yay, Joyce! The fire engines sound way too cool!

I just had a goodies run from the neighborhood kids, bearing tidings of fat and sugar which they kindly sampled at length for my protection. Too cute!

Looks like my Christmas plans are evolving. My ears are totally plugged now, both of them. I will NOT be flying to Tulsa tomorrow.

I also have almost no voice - ha ha ha...FG with no voice! Bet some of you will love that!

I am happy here in my bed.
