Cheryl, so glad you are fin-a-lly feeling better. It sure took you long enough. How's Holly?

Taffy here ya go girl. Some nice spring colored M&M's with pics of bunnies, chicks and lambs. Anyone else need a chocolate fix?

Sally and RW we got ice and snow here too. A solid inch or two under our snow we got overnight. Driving was a bear today. I wish we had our 70 degrees from Monday back. Where is Spring?

Joyce, so sorry you're feeling so crummy. Darn flares sure can ruin a girls day Feel better soon.

Hey to everyone I missed.

You had 70 degrees?? jeez...we are still frozen here, town never plowed the road, tire tracks froze, it's like motorcross out there! I must look silly, at 6'2, mincing down the driveway, looking for snow patches to step in so I don't take a header! Good thing no one can see me! I want spring NOW!

I was up coughing and coughing all night with a horrific headache. I finally gave in and went to the Dr. this morning, and had a chest x-ray. Yes, I have Pneumonia, and was put on a Tri-Pak and given some medication for wheezing. I've never wheezed before in my life.

I'm glad you're home and had a lovely holiday. Are you going to be posting any photos, or did I miss that? In any case, thanks for asking about my whereabouts.

How is everyone else doing? I've missed all of you.

All the best,
Chris
Chris, sorry to hear you are flu-ey and pneumonia ridden! Get thee to the couch with jammies, pillows, quilt, beverages, medications and the phone and PC! Take lots of naps and eat chocolate!

Glad to see everyone, even you DM!

Hi Cheryl
No cast, the air cast lasted 6 days and my doc said take that off. I guess the ER was so surprised it wasn't broken that they treated it like it was.

I took the ace wrap off a couple weeks ago, and wore a neoprene brace (walmart). I stopped that because it hightened the spasticity in the achilles, so stiff. Yuck.

So now, I just wear slippers in the house and tennies outdoors. I can go up stairs like a big girl but have to go down stairs like a little kid. PT is kicking my butt, but I'm still working on getting the swelling down. More ice and elevation. It actually increased by 1/8 in. in a week. Not good.

I see a podiatrist on the 18th. Not sure what s/he can do, but pcp wants it done. Wow, this has turned into a long reply. Aren't you glad you asked?

Yes, I am glad I asked. Sorry it has turned into a nightmare for you! I hope the pod can help you out! I broke my ankle a few years ago and it was not fun so I can imagine what you are going through!

Take care!

Hugs!
