I'm so happy for you, Joelle!! I still drive - although very limited - and it's just about the only time I feel "normal". It does wear me out but it's worth it just to be able to get out of the house for a bit. Be careful!!

Have you considered getting hand controls? I finally "gave in" a couple of years ago cause I was having trouble lifting my leg from the accelorator to the brake . My neuro & DH had been recommending them for a year or so before I decided to check them out. I went to a rehab center & had 3 or 4 training sessions which helped my confidence greatly. Then had them installed & now they feel like I've always had them.

Sally and FG don't you gals sleep?

I was up at the same time you were. Every night I fall asleep but up every two-three hours. The pain wakes me up.

I know Sage was happy that I was up at that hour she had to go out.
I guess the surgery is putting pressure on the bladder because she usually
sleeps all night till 7am.

With this checking around I starting to find you.

Very Happy to hear you are able to go out and drive for a little while.

When we have to stay indoors it makes things worse. You feel like you are
locked up in a prison. At least that is how I feel when I can't leave the house.

Things are worse when you are a driver and this darn disease keeps us
from doing our free spirited driving. I hate to rely on someone to take me
some place. I feel like I am just being a pain in the (you know what )

Truely I am happy you can go and drive now. Take care.

I took cat naps off and on all day today! I am back to 'cog-fog' city, argh! But I'm going to try to go out again tomorrow. My dh has to work 18 straight days in a row. Someone has to go to the store, LOL. It's less than a 1\2 mile away. I think I'll be able to handle it. We'll see tomorrow! Thanks for checkin' up on me guys.
