Have you considered getting hand controls? I finally "gave in" a couple of years ago cause I was having trouble lifting my leg from the accelorator to the brake . My neuro & DH had been recommending them for a year or so before I decided to check them out. I went to a rehab center & had 3 or 4 training sessions which helped my confidence greatly. Then had them installed & now they feel like I've always had them.
