Have it checked out PunkD! It could be any number of things and not related to the MS at all.

wow this is an old post from me.. i should update everyone. it lasted about a week and 1/2. advil/aleve and a neck rub from my wife seemed to help and then one morning it was just gone..

i still have no idea why it happened... but i went to my ENT a little while after and he said it could be allergies or the massive post nasal drip i have.. i kind of don't think thats what it was because it was not a sore throat just sore muscles.. and i have been tested for allergies and i don't have any.. (any they test for that is) but it hasn't happened since.. *knock on wood*..

Question Throat muscle pain

I am a professional singer and had the same thing happen to me. I woke up one day and it felt like i pulled a muscle or had a cramp in my neck/throat area. It has been a week now and I still have a little pain only when I swallow.
I have no problem singing but its getting annoying to swallow.
Hope it disappears soon.

I went to an office party, sat in my wheelchair and had two choices. Sit and look sraight ahead, and see every one's butt, point out to DH the bad ones or ones with panty line or look up at those talking and end up with a horrible neck ache and say "I want to go home". I opted for that. Don't think others understood.
Even under "normal" conditions my neck hurts. JS, let me know Memory foam pi;los info, I'v e thought about it in past.
