This sounds very challenging. I would get an appt with your PCP to start the clinical evaluation. You just may have an overactive Colon. The intestinal track is completely lined with muscles to cause the Parastalic movements to move waste through them.
I really don't understand what you mean by "bubbly" in this situation. Would you mind expounding on this for me?

Err... gassy! To the point where I felt like a bottle of Diet Coke that somebody had shook up.
Phew. Fortunately, this has passed... so to speak! I still get the occasional pain, but it's not as bad. I've been assuming that it's the colon muscles and etc. cramping up. It certainly feels like a cramp. I know what you mean, FinLady - my pop had his gall bladder taken out, and he really suffers when he eats the wrong foods.

yeah, I figured it was gaseous activities occurring in the region from stem to sternum.
![]() I've been getting that lately, but figured it's from foods (or bugs) new to my system. I've only been living abroad for 3 years, so I often run into new ingredients and new spices... glad you're feelin' better, Jen!
