Wow Beary, this is awesome and thanks for the info on lesions!

You may want to have the radiologist sign an agreement that they'll never retire, move offices, leave town, etc. This radiologist is a definite keeper!

Bearygood--Thanks for passing on what he said! Interesting to hear. Glad you have such good doctors.

That's amazing that a radiologist called you--I thought they never interacted with patients.

(Me, I would find it amazing if ANY doctor ever called me spontaneously--it's like pulling teeth just to get them to call me BACK!)

that was a rare dr you got.
and apparently a great facility as well.

if you ever get another mri ask for this radiologist to read your films (he will be familiar with your case).

i hope your f/u appt goes as well.
and, thanks for the info you posted.

Beary,

What a great thing to get a phone call and answers to your questions!

There is nothing better than connecting with a good doctor or professional who will treat you like a person. So many of them treat us like our test results are none of our business and we should just do as we are told.

I am thrilled about your good conversation and finding some answers you were looking for.

Ha! I joked with a friend later that evening that I should've asked him if he was single!

I'll definitely update if I learn anything new about the lesions lighting up. I'm a "fact-check" kind of gal so I'll definitely be asking my doctors about this as well. (And if anyone else does, please post!)
