Thank you for that lovely bird and the beautiful Hibiscus. We had them in our last place, but we moved to a cooler climate around Christmas, and they don't grow down here. I'll miss the Frangipanni and lots of other tropical flowers as well. Roses, Azaleas, Liliums, Dahlias and Rhodadendrums do well here though, so we'll still have plenty of colour.

We had tropical birds at our last house as well, and although they were in the wild, some of them would eat from our hands. They were so lovely, and we had our favourites (which we naturally named) and they'd come day after day to see us......sometimes sitting outside our front door and screeching until we came and sat with them!

I did that last time I bought a new outfit so I can't do that again, but it was a nice thought thank you.

I'm one of those people who rarely buys things for themselves and am very easily pleased. I've always been happier to give than to receive things, so for my treat I decided to do something nice for someone else.

DH took me shopping after my MRI yesterday and I bought something for someone who will get the shock of their life when it arrives in the mail. It definitely wasn't expensive but my joy will last from yesterday when I bought it, right through until it's arrival in a week or two. Each time I think of this person's surprise (and I hope happiness), I'll continue to feel good.

That's the treat I chose.

EDIT : I was so overcome when I read your replies that I didn't even notice there was a page two! Der!!!

Thank you everyone except Craig (only kidding Craig). Your treats look lovely.
