Question What is with my eye???

For about 2 weeks now I have been having left eye pain and I have been getting headachs right behind it too. The weard thing is that it seems to be buldging out a little more than normal. I thought it was just me but I had my hubby look at it and he could see it too.
I have optic atrophy in that eye, but from what I have read that can not casue this. What would cause that?
Thanks for you help

OMG, Sue! I think you should call your eye doctor and get in to see him/her.

I have know idea what that could mean. I'm sure someone else will know.

I'm so sorry about your eye!

I'm not sure what would cause your eye to bulge like that. But I agree. I think a call to the eye doc would be a way to go.

Hope it will get better soon.

Goodness, I agree, that eye needs to be seen by a Dr. I hope it gets better soon.

I am going to see him on Monday, he is going to try to get me in. The pain is starting to drive me nuts. It's not a sharp pain it is the dull kind and nothing is touching it.

The bulging may be the result of swelling in the back of your eye which would explain why you eye seems to be buldging out some.

I hope you are going to see an Opthamologist and not just an Optician. An optician isn't equiped for this type of evaluation and determination of the cause from a purely medical standpoint.

Keep us informed.

I so agree with Chris...and I don't agree with waiting til Monday....

Go to the ER if the ophthalmologist can't see you today...

I don't ever mess around with my eyes....they are TOO precious .....

Go DOC or ER today!

Get to the eye doctor or an ER as soon as you can.

One thing that MS has taught me is to never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever never ever mess with your eyes! If they hurt like you're describing, they're trying to tell you something.

I have to go to my regular eye doc first to get things covered by INS. He was the one who first told me that my vision loss was MS. I called him back last night and he said that I would be ok but, if the pain got to a 7 on the 1-10 scale than he would met me at the office at what ever time. (with an extra charge ). I also have a call in to the other eye doc I saw he will be calling me back today. I think he is an Opthamologist, he sent me for an MRI and to the Neuro the first time.

I will let you know what he said
THANKS
