But it doesn't say that O-bands are found in 100% of MS patients. If your doctor won't diagnose without them, I would wait for a flair.

But I would also bring the above statement to her and discus what she will do if you are indeed part of that 10%.

Thanks for the responses and the links.... Great information as I was terribly confused about this.

My Neuro did make the comment that not every MS patient has bands - so she did address that - but she went on to say that "most people eventually have bands"....

She says she just can't dx me without at least one more lesion or one more piece of evidence somewhere, thus she really wants the LP done.
