Default One of "those" days!

Not sure if this should be here or in "The Stumble INN". I think there's more MS in it than social stuff, but please move it if you wish dear mods.

I've had one of "those" days! There have been good bits, and there have been not so good bits.

I went to the neuro today to get my MRI results from the scan I had 2 weeks ago. When I got there I found that I'd been booked in for nerve conduction studies as well.

That was news to me, but the nurse/technician was really lovely and we chatted through the whole thing about our pets. She had to have her German Shepherd put down today....which was really sad (we've had Shepherds in the past as well), but apart from that it all went well.

Seems there've been no changes on my MRI since the last one in 2006, and the nerve conduction studies were OK as well.....so good news for me about both of those things.

The neuro said said he was happy with how I was going.....would I reconsider giving DMDs another go....NO? OK.....I'll see you again in 2 years then!!

Sounds like a good start to the day, so what could be my problem one might ask.....????

W-e-e-e-ll....

I was in the garden this afternoon picking lemons (the tree is laden at the moment) and I over balanced! .................enough said??

. .

I now have skin off one elbow, one knee, numerous fingers, one shoulder and " I'm fairly certain"....I have one broken big toe!!!

No....I haven't had the toe Xrayed, but I've broken 6 bones in the 5 years up until last year, and DH also broke a toe a little while back. You start to get used to how they feel after a while ..... .and that swollen, black and blue look .... that hurts like crazy, gets to be a dead give away after a while!!

Then there's the emotional roller coaster!!

I've been getting teary at times. I don't know why, but I tend to get so very miserable for a while (mostly it's just hours or a the most....a day or two), then BINGO....it passes and I'm OK again!

I know......I sure am a strange one!
