I voted worked wonders too. However, I'm one of those atypical respondees because most people get hyper and I get very fatigued. Most people eat up a storm, I get anorexic. And my neuro didn't believe in a taper, so the emotional rollercoaster coming down from them was fun too.

BUT.... I felt like a new person after the 'roids. Wow! I felt almost like Pre-MS for a couple of days. Of course, then my residual sx started kicking in again. But still, I felt better.

Totally worth going through the crud to get to that point and have a body memory like that.

I lost weight on it too! Ten pounds! I also had stroke-level high blood pressure, high blood sugar, fuzzy eyes, thrush, purple skin, inability to sleep... So you see why it was disastrous for me. And I took it twice.

i voted "worked wonders" but it really only worked wonders on the pain (fine with me) the damage that was done never went back fully to 100% but close enough.

I voted moderate, because as I understood the reason for tx, then it was successful.

As far as FEELING wonderful....that doesn't happen to me on steroids...I'm envious of those who feel wonderful on them....not me!

I do what doc tells me is best!
