They've been around for years, and I would never pay $50 for a pair of flip flops...not when I can go to Hobby Lobby and get a pair for $2 or less. (flip flops are uncomfortable shoes anyways...and yes, I realize that what you're asking about says "Fit Flops") Crocs are more comfortable, and I feel like I have better balance in those shoes than in sneakers or real shoes.
