I was glad Cherie broke the thread up - I cannot read large groups of text like that.

Brokenfriend, she didn't do it to make you upset - or mad - she did it for the majority of us MSers who have trouble with our vision.

Please don't take it the wrong way and leave. I think you've gotten some great advice here - like Cherie said unfortunately we cannot choose our family!

Hope you're feeling better.....

Default I see

I didn't know about the vision aspect of all of the problems of a MS sufferer. I'm hitting tab,and then shift, and now I'm figuring out how to break up what I'm saying. I've only had a computer for three years.

Cherie. I'm also in allot of pain physically, and mentally, and you caught me by surprise. It was about 3,or 4 AM when I read your reply.

I'm not going to talk about my problems on the MS forum, because this is your help, and support forum. I wish you all good will. I hope that they find a cure for all of you in your life times. I hope that they improve stem cell research, and create help for the burning, and cramping that you all suffer.

God bless each, and every one of you,and may He hold you all close to Him through out eternity. I'm so sorry that you all are suffering. You have a friend here,I'm a little broken though.

Take care. Brokenfriend

Broken,
It's REALLY okay for you to post here. You bring a side that many here are not on....it has value. Most here have a DX of MS, Some are in 'Limbo" waiting to find out, while others are caregivers of those who have the disease.

I have not been DX'ed, but I have a history that one day may prove to be MS. MS can screw up the mind (cog issues). The anger issues your sister has may be related to her DX, while some of her other anger issues may be parental issues. Many people suffer from that....we live in a dysfunctional world....

Many here do have the visual issues and need the paragraphs to read. Some need the words bigger to read. It's all part of the disease. I suspect you can learn a lot from those who live with this, and in doing so, could maybe help repair things with your sister. Sounds like you want to understand her and have a relationship with her. This is a great first step in discovery and finding ways to cope. Please don't be upset

Welcome to the board....

Default Hi greenjeans

Thank you for what you have said. I cannot seem to make my words bigger, yet. With three generations of females on my Mothers side having ALS,and MS,we are worried about the fourth generation,my two nieces. The researchers cannot get a breakthrough fast enough as far as I'm concerned.I could talk about that, but I'm keeping it short. Thanks (Steve... Brokenfriend)

Hello Steve,

It's good to hear from you. I was wondering how you were doing with your own problems and with the extra stresses that your sister is causing you right now.

I've been following your progress on another thread, but didn't feel I could intrude on the relationships you've built there.

I guess it must be hard for you to ignore the possibilty of further genertions being afflicted with MS, but it seems your family already has more than it's fair share of people already diagnosed.

Although it's not uncommon to find more than one person in the same family with MS, I think it would be rare indeed for the condition to follow through every generation. Others on here would know more about that than I do, so please correct me members if I'm wrong.

I'm pleased you checked in Steve. Don't be a stranger, we'd like to hear how you're managing.

Default Thank you for your kind words Koala 77

I'm hanging in there. I'd feel like I'd be doing a bad thing if I described my illnesses in this thread. Thank you for asking though. I know that the pain of the fiber optic burning, spasms, fatigue, paralysis, and a whole bunch of other problems MS suffers have to deal with,I'd better not mention mine. Now that you mention it, I'm wondering if there is a connection with my illness manifesting in another way. With my sister many things are going wrong in her body that are nerve related, and with me many things are going wrong with my emotions, and moods that are nerve related. They are both heredity. I've thought a little about this before. Thank's for your kindness. I'll stop here.
