I remember when that book/infomercial first hit the streets...everyone went wild about it. Can you imagine this guys knows more about this disease than scientists do? Give me a break.
And then there's the snake oil stuff, all those great pyramid schemes that also claim to cure MS! Haven't we seen them all! Life is just great. Wouldn't we just be so much better off if we would listen to all these wonderful helpful people and take all this stuff...we wouldn't have this disease at all! Raw asparagus? Yummy...serve mine with some noni juice please.. ![]()

I've never had raw asparagus, but I've heard it's edible before being cooked. My favorite thing to eat at our favorite Chinese restaurant is Asparagus Beef. (beef, asparagus, bamboo shoots, onions, garlic and that brown colored sauce) What does noni juice taste like?

No wait. I thought all I had to do was give up aspartame and I would be cured. Oh, that's right - it didn't work.
I didn't have the courage to try bee stings, so I guess I'll never know if that works. I do wonder what this guy's "cure" is, though? I have heard of his book for years, but never heard what he proposes to use to cure MS.

There's all sorts of theories on things that cause or will cure MS. I've heard the aspartame one before. I do think the cause of MS is some sort of environmental (chemical? viral? bacterial?) trigger plus something genetic. But, I dont think that if they figured out the cause of MS that it would necessarily mean they could cure it. Whatever triggers it might not be the thing that can "turn it off".

While we're talking about cures, let's not forget the one that was going around some years ago about an extract made from deer antler sheddings!
It would cure just about anything! Anyone want to develop a "cure" and market it?! ![]()
