Default Prozac and MS
This may have been posted before, but I heard it on the radio news this morning.

It was talking about prozac preventing MS lesions.

I thought it was interesting. I haven't heard anything else about it, except that one radio news clip.

I heard the same thing about Paxil. If this is true, it could account for the fact that I have not progressed in disability in the last 5 years. I was on Paxil for about 6 yrs and now Prozac for two.....and LDN for the last 5 yrs. Maybe the LDN and SSRI are working in combination???

Just to be on the safe side, I'm not going to stop either Med.. WooHoo!!

Makes me want to trade my Zoloft for Prozac........

I've never taken any antidepressant but Zoloft. I wonder what reaction, if any, I would have to the change? Is Prozac similar to Zoloft?

Just like all the other drugs out there and how they affect our own individual physiology, Prozac is a no-go for the Moose. I felt OK, but started seeing stuff "in my head". Suicidal type stuff.

My first nuero had me on it for about 6 months. Maybe less.

But if it can help others out there, I say give it a shot.

I thought it was great when I heard it. If it turns out to be true, then it may help slow down progression. Anything that prevented progression would be awesome.
