If you have a cell phone with a camera you could take a picture of the way the car is parked and blocking the way and get one of the plate too.

Then report it to the police with the photos

Well, first of all, the reason Bob almost had a stroke is that it was so uncharacteristic of me. I'm the one who says "Leave it alone, just drop it, don't make a scene, maybe there's a good reason". And I don't punch ANYTHING, except black flies.

I would NEVER have done anything to cause damage to the car! And for all I know, the salesman could have had MS, too, and parked close for that reason. But he could have pulled forward, or backward, a few feet so that people could get by.

I guess I was mostly just frustrated because there is no real solution to people being obtuse. There is a woman that comes in the Post Office now and then who drives a big old pick-up truck, and she ALWAYS parks so that she blocks the sidewalk and customers have to walk around the truck, on the grass (or in the snow). She HAS to know that she's doing it. Maybe it's a power thing, who knows.

If I was having a bad day (which seems to happen often, touching his car would be scarey for me (liability, etc,) I'd probably walk my walker in front of his car painfully, get eye-contact with him and collapse in front of him and his car. (gracefully and making sure I didn't hurt myself. I am a good faller, knock wood.) Then it's his problem. Obviously I fear the legal system more than potenially embarrassing myself.

I don't blame you one bit for hitting his car. As a matter of fact, I only look sweet and innocent. I believe I would've gone back inside and given him a piece of my mind in front of everyone. I normally don't do something like that but on a bad day and dealing with this sort of stuff, I probably would've done it!

I guess my purpose (if I had one...) wasn't to embarrass the person or exact revenge, but just to vent my frustration. It's really not a philosophy to which I ascribe, because you can very easily lose control and either say or do something you wish you could take back.

By and large, I'd rather have someone say, 'Wow, she has MS but she has such a sweet and forgiving attitude", than "Wow, MS must make people psycho."

LOL GJ I didn't take you seriously but I sure thought it was funny. One of those things you would think about but never do - but it makes you feel better just to think about it.
