Oh Barb!

You have been through so much. I know you had issues with all the standard DMDs for MS. Ty was a nightmare, and now they are throwing this at you!

When my MD tried hard to push IVIG at me, I stood up proud, and said, NO THANK YOU! He pushed and told me all the wonderful benefits, and how I could avoid damage..blah blah blah. I re explained that I am a well informed, intelligent woman, and I have decided to forego that treatment. Should I change my mind, I would let them know. Be ready with your answers before you go.

I hope you feel better.

Barb, I can see from your posts, that you have been through quite a bit recently. My doctor wants to put me on Ty, so your issues were very interesting to read about.

I did my research, condensed it, copied and pasted it into a letter explaining why I don't want to try Ty at this time, and asked him to suggest an alternative. I have barely any deficits compared to what I have been reading.

You could do the same thing and be ready. Its your body and your decision. We know there is no magic bullet to kill this thing. You just may need a mental break from what you have been through, too. I hope all is well with your MRI!
