That's what I was going to mention. I drink plenty of water, but that can get your eletrolyts off.

Maybe drink some water, and some Gatorade. If my potassium is low my legs get mean, I tell ya.

And if the muscle relaxers and all that jazz fails, I have a shot or two of tequilla and that does the trick. No kidding.

I use a Lipton Green Tea To Go packet in my water once in a while too. Can't be as good as real green tea, but I feel better since I've been drinking it.

Cheryl, sounds like you have been enduring this cold for too long. I agree with tkrik, try to get a culture, perhaps from an ENT.

Could your immune system be compromised from what you might be taking in the study?

I can get super bad colds and bronchitis from working with teenagers, so as soon as I see any evidence of yellow or green, I get on an antibiotic that day!!

Hope you feel better soon, otherwise I agree with NurseNancy.
