I'm feeling OK......Dreading the car ride to my sisters house.....My Nephew has been away at school for the past 5 years...I would see him in his football settings..Games......Now he was drafted by the Colts so for the time being he has moved to Indiana...So this will be the 2nd time in the last years I actually get to see him out of a football setting......

I'm happy to see him...But the 2 plus hour car ride...Sitting is a problem....So its putting my mind in the proper state time....

And its rainy and raw here too......

Sometime I will start a thread about pro football pharmacy's and NCAA college football pharmacy's........Much different that what we are used to...

The team has its own....Just ask and you receive...

Happy 4th

{{{{ PETE }}}} Hugs to you and all who continue to search and suffer so.

Dont give up please. Know that you are now one of us and we care ok? I too hope you find the combo that eases the pain.

Have you ever considered alternative methods along with pain meds? Its amazing how some chiros for example can unblock nerves that are pinched and inflammed. And there are MANY other sources than the traditional RX or in conjunction with meds.

The brain is amazing in knowing HOW TO heal the body IF its not blocked or toxic. I know, I suffered for years, until I could no longer sit, or hardly able to walk. Every doc wrote me off.

So...I asked the "spirit" to point me in the right direction, closed my eyes and pointed to this most amazing healer in the yellow pages. A chiropractor that uses the B.E.S. T. technique for unblocking pinched or injured nerves. After extensive treatment, He had me not only sitting but walking again. He assisted my healing to now I no longer need a pill, nor have pain.

I know for some this is not possible. BUT there are alternatives that EASE the PAIN along with the conventional methods.

AGain. Dont give up. Hope you enjoy your family time, in spite of the pain.

Warmly, Jan

I hope the car ride isn't too bad for you. Try to sit in the backseat and stretch out if you can. The rain and humidity can do a number on ms symptoms. Hugs.

Hi Pete!
Glad you came over to NT! Sorry not much has changed! I only get 30 a month I break them in half to try and make it last....but I too am low at the end of the month, and at times go a few days without. It minimizes the pain since I don't take the whole thing....it's a game to them...life for us. Hope to see more of you

Hugs
J

I've got painkillers coming out of my....well you get the point, they just don't work!! And the muscle relaxers I am on now (zanaflex) make me sleepy and then its like I am on crack up for 24 hours!

Glad you get to see your "colt" I agree the car rides do sucketh majoreth anymore, I know an 18 hour drive took me 3 days recently. And I am not a good passenger I have to drive! Make frequent stops to get out and stretch, that may help or if not let your wife drive and you drink LOL it's the 4th just tell people you are celebrating! (That was a joke, I know some may not get it)

Maybe if we start playing professional sports we can get all the meds we need...I know I've done so many roids Jose Canseco is threatening to write a book about me!

The car ride was terrible..My rationed 2 became 4 so I am about 8 in the hole...Unreal..

My head was banging so I had to take my fiorecette...Fun.....My anxiety level is off the chart.....And I am a cool relaxed person.....What ever is wrong is driving me NUTS....

But the family say its too warm in the house...Now I can not feel it..But it makes sense seeing that my anxiety level is so high...

Just a quick thing on NCAA and Pro Sports Pharmacy....They tell the Doc whats wrong he examines ....They go to their own pharmacy...In team...Get what ever they need..FREE....Just ask....From cold stuff to pain killers....

I asked my Nephew what he will miss most about his college and pro ride and he said THAT....Hands down....No waiting for Dr's Meds or anything.....PT you name it.....

Trying not to lose my mind....Thanks..

Yes I have....But Half of my issue is Workman's Comp.....I work for the Sheriffs Dept and was injured on duty....This in itself puts a bulls eye on me and the Docs want nothing to do with me....

Then about 2 months after I was injures these Sx's started to show...And yes I overlooked them......I was already in pain....Then I was dropping everything in sight...Shooting pains in my head...Chocking on my own spit....Loss of sensation.....electric shocks...Depth perception problems...Then Constant intense pain.......

So combine this with my on going Comp case its disaster for me.....

That list of Sx's is just partial....But I am a proud man...I I expect respect....Some of these chump Docs think they can punk you because your ill....Well in my world thats Bull S....And I have let many know that.....As I stated earlier I walked out twice on one Doc.......The only reason I did not level him.....And just because I am considered handicap and can't really walk...Yes I would still deck him.....He disrespected me soooooooooo.....Lied to me....And started to dissect me with digs...Well I wont stand for it....

The State has not paid me for a month and a half....I can't drive..I just lost my 2nd home in 2 years,,One I owned and one I rented......I stay home alone all day......Never see anyone anymore...Friends they are all bored because I can't play anymore sports or make it to the bar anymore...So I spend at least 9-10 hours a day alone........When the wife comes home...She needs to be busy with the home stuff and stuff for me....

I'm sorry I think I'm just bitter....Bitter of the life I used to have and whom I used to be...And until my case is settled there are some whom still want to ruin me...Meaning I receive the least from my settlement and retirement.....And what everything I have been thru...I just can not deal with that..

Way sorryyyyyy...Way long answer to a very short question..

I am sorry..I know this is not all about me..Sorry

Pete I am responding to that last post in PM, but please, we get it truly, so don't ever feel bad for what you post here and don't worry we won't let you wallow for too long in self pity either....at least I won't LOL but trust me we all spend our time throwing the occasional pity party. I have been known to have some great ones myself!

Pete

I cannot believe what you are going through. It's just not fair, but you already know that. It does suck big time.

It's this kind of stuff that got me involved with some of the legislative stuff I am doing but it's just a drop in the bucket. Sometimes I feel like I am peeing in the wind...or the ocean...whatever metaphor works. Trying to get one Senator or Representative to sign on to a disability issue is like getting blood from a rock. They don't get it!

Don't give up.
