This must be the week for dental problems!

I went to my dentist on Monday and had a crown replaced and an old filling replaced.

Those injections really must leave quite a bruise. I am still sore.

The dentist showed me the needle . I was thinking thankgoodness my Avonex needle is not that huge!

I'd be skipping the Avonex if they were.

My teeth are cracking. I have at least two more that need a crown. It is so expensive!

Glad your appointment went well! I have never had a root canal.

I didn't get a new Toothbrush or a big Ring or any kind
of prize for being such a good girl.

All I was handed was a nice big piece of paper that was
the bill.

So I did get something a nice Headache to go home with.

Maybe after they complete the work on the tooth, I will get a
new toothbrush. With the cost of the tooth they should give me
a dozen toothbrushes including toothpaste to go with it.

Sorry I haven't answered you sooner, Jappy. I'm really glad your root canal wasn't too bad. I agree, the anticipation is worse than the actual thing. Would you believe the dentist's office called me Tuesday and postponed my appointment!?! Here I was all psyched up for it. The town is putting in new sidewalks and curbs so it's all torn up in front of their building. They didn't think my friends would be able to get me in using the transport chair. It does have small wheels. This is twice it's been postponed now -- thank heaven I don't have a toothache!!! Rescheduled for the 30th -- hopefully!!! Hope your "finishing" goes well! Do you have trouble keeping your mouth open? Sometimes he has to remind me that I'm biting him!! He told me I have a small mouth -- bet my kids wouldn't have agreed when they were small!!!

Hmmmm....you and the Hindenberg!! I've lived in PA a long time now -- 1972. My ex was from this area and of course now my kids/grandkids live in the general area. My father passed away in '89 and he lived in Morristown, so after that there hasn't been a reason to travel that direction.

LA -- Ouch! That teeth breaking thing has happened to me also. Think steroids play a part in that. Sure thankful for caps, bridgework, etc.! Along with finishing my root canal, there are a couple "roots" left from a tooth breaking off that the dentist has to "dig out". I don't know what it is about the dentist -- all that picking and poking around reminds me of having splinters taken out when I was a kid. Seems like my MS gets flared up every time I go. Good luck to you!

JUDY: Sorry to hear about your appt. cancelation.

It is the anticipation that causes more trouble.

Small world. You never know who you might meet
that also came from the same area you do.

Imagine people meeting years later and start talking
and find out that they even lived on the same street, but just
didn't know each other.

Hope all our dental problems will soon be over and that
nothing else pops up.

Happy to let all of you know that I am feeling great as far
as the tooth.

The antbot. are really doing a good job.

Just have to go Aug. 6th to get the post and crown placed and
that is it I hope with the mouth.

Thanks for all your concerns.

I am glad it all went well Jappy! Root canals aren't nearly as bad as they used to be. I've had several recently as well as a couple many years ago and the difference is night and day!

Hope you continue to improve now that the infection is cleared up!
