Default Flu anyone?
OMG I feel like crud. Is there a flu going around by chance? I'm achy, weak, hotflashes/chills, and have a 102 fever. I started feeling bad Saturday night and it has been kind of on and off depending on where in the cycle of Ibuprofen I am.

Wow! I guess you can get the flu no matter what time of year it is. Drink plenty of water and get lots of rest.

Yep, our friends that have been staying with us have it. I guess I should say 2 of their 3 kids have it. And my niece in Oklahoma just got over strep...2nd person in the last 2 weeks with it that I know.

Yep, Jim's has the stomach bug. He has all of your symptoms minus the temp. Hope you get over it soon!

jules. i'm sorry you're sick. yuk.
please call your dr. with a fever that high in spite of meds to lower it i think you need to call him.

and, you can try a cool shower. and/or some cold clothes in your groin and around your neck. don't freeze yourself, just cool. that should help bring the fever down. NO NOT EVER PUT ALCOHOL IN THE WATER AND ON YOUR SKIN. YOU CAN GET POISONED. JUST PLAIN WATER.

Thanks Gals,
I'm feeling a bit better this morning, down to 100 and not nearly as weak or achy. If it doesn't continue to improve I will give the Doc a ring but it looks like I'm on the mend.

Hope everyone is good today and Sandy tell Jim I hope he starts feeling better soon. Jules

Influenza B...Had it in March (over my birthday ~ Ugh)..Hope you're feeling better very soon! Have they given you anything for it? They gave me Tamiflu, and while I still felt like crud for a week, the high fever and painful throat stuff went away within 12 hrs..
