I guess Sinemet stopped working for you for a while? Or did the pain just get worse and you need something more effective (for you) at the time?

Hopefully Sinemet is the answer again . . . for however long it lasts.

Cherie
Sinemet was working, it has a side effect that I just got tired of dealing with - stomach upset. Docs were getting concerned with all the weight I was losing and thought maybe switching me to Soma would would alleviate that. Plus it would help with my insomnia. No more ambien.

Well, it was a failed experiment. Soma just wasn't stopping the spasms. In fact, they have increased and I am not getting any sleep, and I am not willing to up the dose of Soma.

So, I am willing to put up with the stomach upset - back to popping Maalox with it, it's not really that bad. I'd rather have less spasms so I can sleep and occasional upset stomach than spasms and no sleep.
