Default Sinus Infection
Went to bed last night with a tooth ache - was surprised cause nothing is wrong with the tooth. And then about midnight it came to me dummy it isn't a tooth ache, you are getting a sinus infection!!! Drainage down the back of my throat - when I sat up it drained and my tooth didn't hurt but when I layed down I was in terrible pain! Needless to say it was a long night....... MY head is filling up again this morning. I have called the PCP but she is off today and won't be back until Monday.

Well, carp. I've only had two of them but MAN! It's miserable. I hope it's a quicky that will resolve itself in no time.

Oh ick!! Try picking up some Mucinex. If it's a sinus infection, you're going to need an antibiotic because they just don't seem to disappear without them. Blechy for you. And you're going away this weekend?? Do you have an emergi center near you? Maybe you could go there instead and get a ZPack or something.

Hope you're feeling better soon. I despise sinus infections. I get one about once a year and they always make me feel like death warmed over.

How crummy for you. Those really suck. I hope you get some help soon. Try warm compresses on your sinuses. Lots of fluids and sleep if you can. I hope you feel better sooner rather than later.

Sorry Char, I just saw this. I agree about the Mucinex. It will get you through till you see the doc. I have bad allergies and just got over one without antibiotics thank goodness.

I ended up going to the walk in care for my PCP was off Friday - I walked into walk in care around 3:00 - left around 6:45!

but the good news was they got me a prescript that is on the $4 list at Wally world so the Mucinex cold more than the actual medication!!! The doc told me to take the Mucinex too - good stuff!!!

I was feeling much better come Saturday morning.... I came home went right to bed and then went to DBF moms house on Saturday morning. Feeling so much better!!!

Glad you got the meds. Yep, Mucinex is good stuff. Doc has been giving me that stuff every time I get a sinus infection now.
