Default Cytoscopy

Well, I saw the urologist at a follow up appt (after having the urodynamics done a couple of weeks ago.) He said it appears that while I'm emptying like I'm supposed to, I have a bit of an overactive bladder. He does want to do a cytoscopy (oh joy! ), so the person who schedules those procedures will be calling me in the next week or so.

He started explaining what goes on, saying "it's not too bad", but then I guess he saw the look of "are you crazy?" on my face b/c he stopped and asked me how I did w/the urodynamics test. After I told him how horrible it was, he--very easy going--said we'd just make sure I didn't know anything was going on with this latest test. We're doing it outpatient, and I'll be in la-la land.

So, that's where we are right now.
