Question Mind Games?

What do you do to keep your mind and memory sharp?

I play online word games, do crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, etc. I read as much as possible. Sometimes I wonder if that's enough. I have days where the cog fog is terrible. Then the next day I'm sharp as a tack. It's just a crap shoot as to how I'll be any given day.

Does anyone here do anything special to exercise the mind?

I knit and crochet.

Sometimes it's a mindless stitch..something I can do without looking at my work, but I'm still trying to learn new things to do with the yarn and the hooks and the pointy sticks. Tried to learn cable knitting last night. Screwed that up, but at least I'm learning something new.

You know what I do Kelly . I read a book a day most of the time. I also do the NY Times crossword and I'm learning to make greeting cards.

I don't like most games, but I find that learning a new language is stretching my brain!
