frank, my husband was 45 when i forced him to have his first "man" exam.

yes he was nervous, but for him going to my dr, who is a friend of my husbands ( yes..weird huh? ) made him feel more comfortable. he could express his anxiety. something he said after was what made it easier.

so talk to your dr. there are many things, like draping and covering 99% that can be done. numbing cream too
