Doc gave me a prescript for Meclizine said you can't buy it over the counter but said it causes drowsiness - I don't need that, can do that all on my own! She said it would be better to take Dramine if it doesn't make me sleepy.

As long as I take the Dramine 2x a day I seem to be able to tollerate the Vertigo, I think it is getting better as long as I don't drive when it is raining, don't look out the side window while in the passenger seat, don't sit on the back porch swing and swing, don't use the Smilies that make fast movement, and so on and so on.... you get my drift don't ya!

Lambchop, honey, your doc is behind the times, it's been available OTC for at least a few years. You can get 100 units of 25mg for about $5, way better deal than Rx. When I need it, drowziness is the least of my worries!

Thanks for that link, Cin. I guess my doctor's behind the times, too, cause he gave me a prescription for it!! It was only $8.95 so that wasn't too bad. I had no idea you could get it OTC...

Thanks for the link too, Cindy - Kelly glad I wasn't the only one that had a doctor tell them it wasn't OTC!
