WCTRIMS= World Congress on Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis

This is the first conference where they had the Americas Committee (ACTRIMS), the Latin Americas Committee(LACTRIMS), and the European Committee(ECTRIMS) together.

Reports are starting to show on the news and finance outlets from the various drug companies. Some have been posted in other posts. Here is the first one from Biogen and Elan on Tysabri:

Thumbs up

Excellent news RW! I can attest to this too, I've had improvements with Tysabri that are not only noticeable to me, but to those who know me and interact with me regularly or even occasionally. This has been a Godsend for me, and I feel fortunate to be taking Tysabri.

Also, I have not had any new symptoms while on it, and many of the old nagging symptoms have disappeared.

Thanks for the info - I am sure I would be in a w/c... if it were not for TY. BTW, some here know that I am about to back out of HiCy. I have PMED some people here and at places ref the choice. I chose those that I considered to be the most knowledable and yet not biased.

My bottom line is why should I give up a treatment that is wking for an unknown.... I don't think I can take the risk. Not backing out of HiCy yet but expect it.

I remain pro ty and am so happy for the good news!
