Mine!!!!!!!

I'm half tempted to go to bed in a few minutes, but I want to sit and watch Hannity & Colmes for some reason tonight. I went to bed last night at 1230, so I think I'll do the same tonight.

Here's hoping the Ambien works again tonight and that it wasnt a fluke. I did end up taking a couple of naps today. Accidentally. I apparently can fall asleep wherever I am, when I dont want to fall asleep. (Narcolepsy? Or just tired?)

Angry Last night was a fluke!!! ARRRGH!!!!

I took my Ambien at 1230am. It's now 150am, and I'm STILL AWAKE!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not pleased by this.

I dont even feel tired, except for a few yawns.

This is extremely frustrating.

I wonder if the fact that I'm sneezing and coughing from allergies/and or a cold, and that I have a headache would have anything to do with it?

SHARE!! 3ish hours and I'm up. Woke up probably 3 times during those 3 hours LMAO!

Dej will be pleased to hear that I woke up drooling out the corner of my mouth onto my clean pillowcase. This is pretty important for someone who has dealt with burning mouth syndrome and dry mouth for over a year. So I was happy to see drool. Yay!

Oh and my left nostril is stuffed up (hey to you nose function).

I think I need to crack open my tryptophan or something.

I STILL CANT SLEEP!!!!!!

*sobbing*

I guess since I weigh more now than I did 12yrs ago, just taking 1/4 of a 5mg Ambien isnt going to cut it this time.

I just talked to the pharmacist. Told her I'd taken 1/4 of a pill 2hrs ago. Nothing. Then I got up and took some more, so that I'd had about 3/4's of a pill. Still nothing. She told me to take another half.

I'm about to lay down now, and hope that I fall asleep. At least I dont have to be up in the morning, I'm just trying to fix my sleeping patterns so that I'm not falling asleep at 7am.

This whole insomnia thing is starting to make me mad now. Probably not a good thing to get all p-o-ed right about now, when I'm waiting for the Ambien to kick in.

Why is it so hard to do something simple like fall asleep?!?!?

And, no! I'm not sharing! It's mine! All Mine! I needs it! (I dont sound like a drug addict do I? Dont answer that!)

time for bed...hopefully, it's only almost 3-freaking-am!! I better be asleep in the next half hour.

I did, but was really disappointed that it took freaking forever for the Ambien to kick in. Plus the fact that monday night, I only had to take a small amount to get to sleep, but last night, I had to increase the dosage. What's the deal with that?

My allergies are driving me nuts right now. I'm starting to think I have a cold, and maybe that's why I had problems falling asleep last night. Nose is plugged, and I was not very comfortable last night. Maybe that's part of the problem.

At least I didnt sleep till 2pm today. I guess tho, that it'll take a few days to get my brain to sleep on a more normal sleeping schedule.

Erin that's like me too though. Nose plugged up a bit. Maybe it's all tied in to quitting "La Evil".

Well, I know that "La Evil" has antihistamine properties, but it's been a week and a half since I quit it.

If what I have is allergies, I think it's got something to do with the weather changing and the leaves starting to fall, or maybe my mom's cleaning lady cleaned with one of the cleaning products that my entire family is allergic to (ewww...Febreeze)

I hate colds and allergies. I'd rather be able to breathe than sleep actually. Plus, I hate it when my nose gets all runny. Because then it gets red, and you feel like everyone is looking at your nose and being all grossed out because you've rubbed your poor nose raw with all the sniffling. Yuck!

My boyfriend lent me some of those Breathe-Right nose strips when we went on our trip earlier this month. I could breathe in the badly ventilated hotel with those. Maybe I'll go buy a box later and see if it helps the sniffling.

I only got 6 hours of sleep last night, but I didnt wake up as often as I did the night before, so I feel more rested today at least. Feel like I wont need to nap as much later today.

So, Erin, how'd you do last night? Ambien doesn't do much to knock me out. Even when mixed with baclofen, oxycodone, or benadryl even! I'm thinking of moving onto using a big heavy Mallet. One or two strikes across my head should do it?! Okay, I'm a big girl, so maybe 3 bonks with the mallet might work better?

Oh, and while some of you freeze.... I'm BOILING at night...ice packs in the pillow cases and every where else, since apparently the ceiling fan on high blast and the A/C on and temp down to low 60s...and I'm still like an oven!!

Is there any consistency with the MS related insomnia...or is this just one more inconsistency with MS.

I'm desperate for sleep. Please. Tie. Me. Down. To. A. Bed. Let. Me. Sleep.

My ability to continue functioning has declined tremendously.
