It's been 10 months now and I'm still dealing with 6th nerve palsy on my left eye. After going through all these tests such as: lumbar puncture (myelin elevated at 5.0) Evoked potential: abnormal in the right eye by a millsecond, foot drop for 4 years, numbness by my right rib cage, and numbness on right thigh areas, thyroid came back with very high and very low. Along with depression, emotional mood swings, anger, sleepy, and the list goes on and on.
But no lesions in the MRI. So 3 doctors "feel" that its mild MS. So one doctor said, "let's start on the MS therapy." I could take Avonex and see what happens he says. No muscle surgery in my eye at the moment because they don't want to risk it going the other way if it is MS. what do I do?????? Already been on predisone IV and made feel good but now I'm feeling blah. Help!! I'm not getting a direct answer from the doctors, they are just guessing. |
