DD is gluten intolerant so I spent YEARS doing the extreme gluten free stuff. We were a vegetarian, home made, home grown, low fat, no processed anything household for many years. funny, i still got MS. Crap like that makes me mad, because it makes the rest of the world think you are just not trying hard enough. That if you had more will power, you could do it.

grrrrrr. ... I just want to explode when they do that.

Damit! I knew I caused Jim's ms by cooking too many steaks! ARGHH!!

I am mad too Sassy because now we'll all hear about it. We are always told of the latest craze to cure ms or that Jim has one foot in the grave.

Dang...I shouldnt have had that McDonald's double cheeseburger (only ketchup and extra onions please!) today.

and the french fries...(they were cold! argh! I hate that!) those probably didnt do my MS any good.

and then there were the pork chops (with applesauce) and baked potatoes with garlic butter that I had for dinner tonight. That was probably a bad move too.

I saw that magazine at the store today while I was buying the applesauce for my pork chops...didnt bother to read it while in line tho.

Today was my 1 cheat day I have every 2 weeks when I go out with coworkers.

Well today, I ordered a chicken wrap (very healthy) and my french fries (like I said, bi-weekly cheat day!) and the food was late and the fries were dreadfully cold.

I sent em back and got new.

I hate this kind of crap! And what's probably sad but true about the story, is this woman probably thinks her diet really did cure her MS, when in reality she's just in remission!

Man, if changing our diets did all the things it's supposed to we wouldn't be spending millions on testing new drugs! Amazing how easy we want it to be. And really, if all you have to do to lose weight is eat a particular diet, would any of us be fat!

I especially love it when these dopey articles or books come out and well-meaning friends tell me about them. At least so far I can still nod politely to them and say, "Oh, really, I'll have to look into that, thanks for the info." (you idiot) I don't say that, but boy I want to.
