As to her going out on maternity leave: could you get her to give you the referral to the new neuro? Then the insurance compnay might approve him/her in a few months/weeks. See the new neuro, then make appoitment to see your new wonderful PCP as soon as she gets back from maternity leave. I am assuming she will only be out of office for 2-3 months, but this is just a guess on my part. Either way- glad you found someone, interested in you, listens to you and who connects with you. It makes all the differnce, especially when you do not have a 100% solid answer.
