I've been on SD since '99. Recently I got my first request for review. It was a short questionairre. If they thought that after the questionairre that they needed further info for a review they would write my MDs. Got letter yesterday that they wouldn't do any further review. So will they do another questionairre further down the line or can I feel safe now. I am 58 so I know I can switch over to regular SS in about 4 years.

Doydie,
You can feel safe now. They won't do any more reviews. You can switch over at 62 or wait until you are 65 to switch over to regular SS. Doxie |

Your SSDI will become regular SS when you reach normal retirement age, 65 for most, there will be no change in your benefit. At your age there is very little chance they do another review.
