Going to my sister's, although the younger set is doing the cooking now. My sister, my Mom and we all live here in town. My daughter and her new husband are also here and my sister's son and family. My brother is coming from about 5 hours away.

My Mom is old, my sister has many orthopedic problems and I have MS. So our kids are now serving us! It is so wonderful. They cook all the traditional things we all used to cook. We now use fancy paper plates instead of china. But we are all together. We have so much to be thankful this year, my son in law home from Iraq and our new grand baby.

Younger daughter and her husband were able to join us last minute. More than enough food. More than enough help. After dinner the 8 of us sat around the fireplace and read books to grandson, visited and played trivial pursuit. It really was the picture perfect family gathering. can't quite remember that happening so nicely in eons....if ever.
