I am sorry I am worrying you----I am just as awesomely down as one can get---In as much pain as one can be-----My atty and wife tried in vain to get me in to an appt today---No luck-----So I have one option for pain meds---That is the ER----I said I was developing a phobia to the docs--ER included--------

My ego does not like how they try to play God----Sometimes I get a salt of the Earth Doc---Other times---Huh------Put it this way---If I could I would lock some Docs for no good reasons---Just for being a Horses hind Quarter---You know----------

I danced this dance to no good and the same ending soooooooooooooo many times----I really have a hard time dealing------plus when the pain is so bad you cant stand----Your head is banging not the worst---6 outta 10 right now---But add the other pain tightness and discomfort----We got a 15 outta 10---------Its hard to pretend its OK-----I bite the life outta my pens

*mailing collection of old pens to Pete to chew on*

Please get yourself to the ER and let us know how it goes. Hope you get a good doc that will listen and help.

I agree with Twinks. Go to the ER and if you don't like the ER by you go farther to one you do.

Lordy I feel like a crazy man----Just a question---do you think I am losing it. My mind?

Maybe I can talk my wife into bringing me late at night or very early in the morning---Like a fishing trip, only different--This time I am the fish and the bait---The doc well he is fishing me of course----

Honest opinions are welcomed since you all have walked this turf well before I

Crazy? Well define crazy....

The stuff you are saying is all stuff I have said, in so many words. I saw so many docs that did not a dang thing to help me. If I had seen them on fire, I would not have pee'd on them to put the fire out.

So how can you go through that and not feel a little crazy? It's not a normal situation.

I do not get my hopes up that the next doc IS going to help, but yet, I HAVE to keep going because it still hurts. I have to keep trying.

All of them are not sadists, although a lot of them seem to be. Odds are you have to run itno a decent doc sooner or later, one who can do something for you.

Mine is a pain doc - those are THE only ones in Ohio who will rx any pain meds at all these days. All the docs are so afraid the feds are watching what they rx they won't give you anything.

The only ones who get screwed are people like us.

I really hope you get some help.

Ok I told u I was gonna PM this but I'm gonna post it here case anyone can add to something I forgot. For when you go to the neuro on Tues........

Take a written or typed timeline of your symptoms short to the point, dates they began, are they still ongoing?

Doctors have a short period of time to digest alot of info and try to diagnose you, Give him the paper and let HIM do the talking..question asking.

take a list of your current medications and how many you are taking include if that medication works for you or not.

I already told u this but....Do NOT NOT talk about how incompetent all your other doctors are or have been.

If you have CD's, other tests results take those too.

Be patient, stay calm, and keep an open mind!

When the neuro asks you what you are there for give him a BRIEF synopsis of why and hand him the paper. Remember the more u talk, the less time he has to actually try to figure out the problem.

you are not crazy..you are frustrated with the pains and aches you are having and sometimes no answers to them.

YOU should go to ER, that way you can get the meds you have been on to help. Then as Sandy said you need someone to talk to...so talk away here if need it..talk with wifey, talk with all ....

the feelings can be so normal with frustration! We just dont want you to get past the frustration, you are wonderful remember that!!

Glad you shared the feelings,

I am having issues right now not with dreams, but like total limbs all numbness overnts a LOT!! I started a new dosage of prednisone taper to see if it kicks some of this away! I am undx, so with the pain and frustration, I have many a days when I want to scream it out to all....

hugssss and remember we are here, but also if you need to get someone for help dr wise too...talking is good medicine..hugsss,sarah
