I've been looking for half gloves I can wear when doing yoga. The only pain I have that's fairly constant is in the palms of my hands, and any pose where I put weight on my hands is quite painful.
Currently I am wearing the half gloves I bought a couple years ago with my heavy bag, but they aren't padded enough on the palm side. I looked at the gloves for wheelchair racing, but while they are sturdy gloves, they don't appear well padded. Anybody know of anything out there that might just work? Or know of somewhere I can inquire? Thanks oodles for all your wonderful input you wonderful people! ![]()

These are padded gloves. Look for weight lifting gloves. They are different than regular exercise gloves. Those are mainly to stop calluses. Weight lifting gloves have padding. The distributor we buy from only sells in bulk wholesale, but this website has pretty good prices.

Some bicycling gloves have good padding.

My sister bought for my mother gloves from Ace Hardware that have a green padded silicon surface on them for her to use to lift things. They are actually gardening gloves, but have proven effective for her. She's 86 and has a hard time holding things due to neuropathy and arthritis. They are padded and may offer you the padding you need. Cheap and effective. Don't know if that will help you, but there's an idea anyway. Good luck.
