Well, what can I say other than "I'm BACK". Positive note I've enjoyed almost 8 months of pure heaven.......took another cruise, feeling fantastic, symptom free, and then August came.......
Au g2010 Woke up one morning with loss of vision acuity/blurred vision both eyes, no eye pain, yes dull headache, colors look washed out with a film over them, objects have no edges, severe mid back pain, several of the vertebrae are swollen and very painful (can't stand to have bra pressing the the vertabrae,)leg weakness/increased spasticity, cold hypersensitivity, nausea, lt facial pain. Started back on the baclofen increasing each day until I get back to 10 mg 3x day.

Saw doctor at ER 2 1/2 weeks after it started. (left eye improving but rt eye still a mess) Eye Dr.noticed some inflammation in rt eye, but not in the optic nerve. Told to wait and see. All other symptoms still on the uprise.Advised to keep taking the baclofen and see reg dr. in two weeks if not better.

2 weeks later follow up with new eye dr. Told eye blurring was "congenital and I've had it all my life." Excuse me! Rt eye has always been 20/30. Lt eye 20/20. New dr. prescribed +3 contact lens for the rt eye. NO IDEA WHERE THAT CAME FROM. I'm fairly sure I would notice if my eyes weren't focusing and can't even see the big "E". Also, I failed the color blindness test. What green/red dots??

6 weeks since occurrence, rt eye still blurred enough I can't read standard size print if I close the left eye, but together I see the same as before this all started. All other symtpoms are still on the rise even with the baclofen.
Contact lens for right eye makes overall vision the same acuity as when the symptoms all started. A blurred mess, pain behind left eye, nausea.

GP is on vacation until next week. Trying to find a new neuro on my insurance plan.

1- Having been 6 weeks will the neuro exam even show any abnormalities? MRI?
2- Should I request LP from reg dr because of the swelling in my mid back.
3- How long do symptoms have to last to still show abnormalities?

So ready for the weekend of the heating pad and sleep.
