Whoohoo Cindy! Good luck and I pray it's a good thing for you. Jim's getting evaluated today for his seat and he's going to ask about a foot brace. His right foot is trying to turn in and doesn't sit flat on the floor anymore. Don't you have a foot brace or something like that? If so, what do you use?

I'm so excited for you. I hope it works for you.

Yep, I have an AFO with the articulated ankle hinge. It helps but it's no bot foot. I do have the ankle turn thing too, and it does it right inside the AFO if it's not champed down in a tied shoe. Kind of frustrating to have to wear regular shoes all the time, I don't have any plaid NBs to go with my jammies.

Hope all goes well for you today with your test drive! Post about it when you can.

IT'S A GO!!!!!!!
*insert ALL moving smilies*

My friends, I tell you the truth, anyone who has seen me hobble will NOT even believe this thing! I'm so totally excited, I can hardly describe it!

*insert ALL moving smilies*

After some tweaking and a few false starts, Jerry had me walking at an amazing clip (for me) for 9 straight minutes and I wasn't even tired! I walked about 20 steps WITH NO WALKER OR CANE and was able to right my balance on my own the one time when I thought it was getting away from me.

*insert ALL moving smilies*

I laughed, I cried, I laughed again and my face hurts from smiling. When mine comes in, all made just for me, I'm going to walk to Toad Hollow and kick DM on the first try!!!!!

Yippee! Hooray! Fantastic! Amazing! Miraculous!

I'm telling ya, Folks~ She's nevah coming down from this high. I couldn't stop ginning when she was telling me about her Bot foot experience. It truly sounds incredible and I think she better put her BIG girl panties on if she plans on kicking DM. Guess she hasn't heard that TNT comes in small packages. *grin*

There is hope out there and exciting that technology is becoming available to help people get through their days just a little easier. I'm still smiling, too!
