When I read through these posts, it was like I had written them. I also have given up hope of anything helpful happening with my MS before I die and am now making plans to live with more problems than I currently have.

When first diagnosed, almost 40 years ago, I had more hope than I do now, because like many of you, I was told the inevitable phrase that "A cure is just around the corner". I no longer believe that a cure is anywhere close to being found, or even a decent treatment for that matter.

My main hope is that my children and grandchildren do not get this disease. It would help if some researcher could pinpoint the real cause so that others could avoid the triggers for MS.

Good luck to us all as far as living the best life possible.
