Fin - I am so sorry about your fall.:hug::hug: However, I am glad to hear that you only have some scrapes and bruises.

As for telling the neuro, I would just document it and tell them about it at your next appt. But, if it becomes a frequent occurrence then definitely give them a call before your next appointment.

Awwww, that's too bad, Fin.

I'm so impressed that you were able to go ahead with your shopping.

You go, girl!!!

 aww Fin.

How are you feeling today? I know I have hurt worse the second day.

Fiin, I just saw this thread. I am so sorry to hear about your fall. I am also impressed you get up and then did your shopping. If I fell, I do not think I could even get up. Hope you are not too sore today. I probably would not call the neuro unless you experience the problem again in the near future or if you are developing foot drop and did not have it before.

Sorry about your fall Fin.   That used to happen to me a lot. Thank goodness you didn't break anything!

Thanks all. :grouphug: A little stiff and sore this morning, but doing ok so far. Though my ego's been doing the instant replay every once in awhile, so it's still a little bruised. :o

I think I'll do a wait and see the next few days to see if it's still an issue. (I see him next month, and they probably won't get me in before then anyways - plus he's MRI happy. :Sigh:) Been noticing some changes in walking lately, that just happened to be the blazing neon sign. Not used to having to pay attention to that side. Meanwhile, going to do an exercise I found that's good for MSer's with drop foot. Just to see if it might help.

As to continuing shopping - warned you I was the stubborn one. :D ;) Did the quick evaluation which I began in my tomboy days as a kid. Conversation in head went like this - am I bleeding? nope. Anything broken? nope. Want to paint sometime this week? yep. Then get in there.

OUCH!!! Don't do that, Fin!!!! I'm a master at falling and have perfected it so well, that every time I fall now, I look up to see the judge's scores. Last time I only got a 7!!!!

Hope your'e not too sore; as Yappy said, it's usually the next day when the pain sets in. Take care!!

I think mine was a 7 or 8 since I managed to avoid the face plant at the last minute, but I'm sure I wasn't graceful enough for a ten. :D

Fin, a warm bath with epson salt will help with soreness.

I think you have to do a spin to get a 10. :p Or be wearing a skirt.

I just read this and am so glad your ok. I would document the fall and see if you notice this happening more often as suggested. Definately tell your neuro at the next appointment for sure. Jim used to fall so much it became normal. His biggest problem was his braces and crutches. The darn things had a mind of their own.
