Ok, so I got a prescription for another antibiotic today (couldn't get to the doctor yesterday... should have seen the weather here, 35 CM of snow).
Never taken this one before, but it's called Suprax (which is Cefixime). 10 tablets and taken once a day. Pretty expensive compared with the other antibiotic choices, but I have excellent coverage so I didn't have to pay anything for it. Go probiotics and yogurt! Doctor was nice too, wrote me a note excusing me from work all week, but I'm going back Thursday unless I have some crazy severe reaction to this stuff in the meantime.
