I did not vote. Like Msarkie, I intentionally give my Copaxone shots less frequently. I had also read the research that indicates that once every other day injections are just as effective as daily injections.
I inject only in my abdomen, rotating to four different spots. I made this decision, due to pain that resembled a bad tetanus shot at other sites (thighs, arms, hips). Shared Solutions does not recommend using one spot more than once per week, so, since I use only my abdomen, I inject only 4 times per week. When I told my MS Specialist what I was doing (several months after the fact), I thought she might not approve. However, she just said, "We do what we can." Initial results seem to indicate that Copaxone may be effective for me, even at this reduced fx. I acknowledge that the study regarding every other day injections used a small sample group, and, therefore, is considered to be less valid than if a larger sample had been studied. But, I am hopeful that the results for me will remain positive. ~ Faith
