My nursejudy, they told me heat, gave me a couple of neat little heating packets to bring home. The swelling has gone down mostly, looks really nasty with the bruising! Sox, I am thinking the Vodka & Cranberry Juice is helping me too! Second glass, I am hoping for sleep tonight!

Good to hear that the vodka is helping.

The heat probably increased the blood flow which is why it looks nasty. Glad the swelling is going down. Can't be looking like a drug addicted hooker at the camp!

Milkshakes during oral P!!

They made the pills go down fast and they coated the stomach and you deserve a milkshake!

Take care

I hope someday we will toast together with a shot of Buca lol!!!

Amen to that, I also support the toot-frooty tums, a bloody fistful the first day. Basically, my neuro and I agreed on two for each pred tablet. They're crunchy and delicious and chock full of calcium!

sorry about the vein, I have never felt bad from the oral steroids...but maybe lighter dose...the shake idea is good though, as I tend to not get the pills going down fast and the taste woo... the buca might take it down lol hugss, sarah

I'm so sorry, Char! I hope you feel better fast, and that the SM works even faster.

By all means, rest, nap, drink, whatever works.

What in the world is Sambuca? It sounds like I need to get me some!
