It's almost 90 degrees here (yes, Vermont) and somebody asked me to go outside and do something. I said that I can't do heat, and he said "It will only take 15 minutes." Then I had an Aha! moment.

He has asthma and allergies, so I said, "I will if you'll go into the candle shop with me for only 15 minutes." He said, "Are you kidding? If I spent 15 minutes in the candle shop, I wouldn't be able to breathe for two days!" Then he just stared at me and I saw the light dawn.

It's not exactly the same, but it's a meeting place for understanding. Each little step counts.
