I cannot believe that your doc didn't tell you to get something (tagamet, pepcid, zantac) before you started the orals!

My doc said ANY time you do orals you should also do ranitidine for your stomach. He had me on 75 mg. 3xday when I did my last course in 2007 and I had to continue the 75 mg TID for a week after I was done with the orals. He cautioned against acidic foods and alcoholic drinks while on them too. Of course I didn't listen about the food and alcohol, but I did take the zantac without fail and I didn't have any problems.

Get something for your stomach!

Good Luck with the interview!

Char, I hope you get the job you are applying for. Good luck!

Steroids always made me feel euphoric. They did bother my tummy so I wrapped each tablet in American cheese and made a ball out of each one. Like you can do to give doggies their pills.

It helped with the acid problem because the steroids seemed to melt in your mouth too fast and taste terrible. They hurt all the way going down. I took 10 tablets a day, now I do IVSM when needed.
